This Privacy Policy explains how Virnit Automation (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile application Rise Clock (the “App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or photos) to our servers. We do not operate accounts, and we have no back-end that receives your personal data.
Data stored on your device
To make the App work, the following information is created and stored locally on your device only, and is never uploaded to us:
- Alarms you create (time, label, repeat days, sound, snooze and volume preferences).
- Cities you add to the World Clock.
- Your current timer and stopwatch state.
- App settings and preferences.
This data stays in the App's private storage on your device. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all of it.
2. Permissions We Use
The App requests only the permissions needed to function as an alarm clock:
- Alarms & reminders (exact alarm) — to make your alarms and timers ring at the exact time you set.
- Notifications — to show alarm, timer, and ongoing stopwatch/timer alerts.
- Full-screen intent — to display the alarm screen over your lock screen so you don't miss it.
- Run at startup — to restore your scheduled alarms after the device restarts.
- Vibrate — to vibrate your device for alarms.
- Wake lock — to reliably wake the device when an alarm fires.
- Foreground service — to keep a running timer or stopwatch alive while the App is in the background.
- Internet & network state — to serve ads and send anonymous analytics and crash reports (see Sections 3 and 4).
3. Analytics & Crash Reporting
To understand how the App is used and to detect and fix crashes, we use Google Firebase services — Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services may collect anonymous, aggregated information such as: app usage events (e.g. screens viewed, features used), device model and operating-system version, app version, general region/language, a Firebase-generated installation identifier, and crash diagnostics (stack traces and device state at the time of a crash).
This information is processed by Google on our behalf and is used only to improve the App's reliability and experience. It does not include your name, email, contacts, or the content of your alarms. Learn more in Firebase's Privacy & Security terms and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Advertising & Third-Party Services
Rise Clock may show advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may collect and use certain information — such as a device advertising identifier, general device information, approximate location, and app interactions — to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's own policies.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, we present a consent choice (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized ads, and you can review or change your choice at any time. You can learn more and manage your options here:
5. Children's Privacy
Rise Clock is a general-audience utility app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
6. Data Security
Because your data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us, it is protected by your device's own security. We recommend keeping your device software up to date and secured with a screen lock.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
All App data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can delete individual alarms or cities inside the App at any time, or remove all App data by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage in your device settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective date”. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
